It is the decision of the board's members to slightly change the academic curriculum of Science class 11th 12th as we all know considering the current situation all the schools are remained closed for a long time. Hence, the CBSE Class 11th and 12th Syllabus 2020-21 has been shortened for various courses. The CBSE Class 12th Syllabus 2021-22 should be properly studied by students preparing for the upcoming CBSE Classes 11 & 12 examination 2021-22. Students can start studying for the CBSE Exam by acquiring the CBSE class 11th and 12th science curriculum 2021-22. As a result of the worldwide situation, people's normal routines have been drastically disturbed. In light of this, CBSE officials have simplified the CBSE 11th Class Syllabus.
Following the HRD Ministry's directions, NCERT has created a new academic schedule. Because this cannot be done via the online courses that CBSE schools are hosting to ensure that studies do not come to a halt due to the outbreak of an epidemic, the modified CBSE syllabus features fewer activities and practical work. This blog comprises the current changes in the curriculum of Science class 11th 12th.
Class XI & XII Curriculum Transaction Details
Before preparing for the CBSE class 11th and 12th examination, check the revised curriculum. Marks obtained in the internal assessment and the practical will be combined to calculate the marks. Unit examinations, exploratory activities, practical’s, and projects would be included in the internal assessment (through the year, regardless of Terms I and II). Schools would establish a student profile for all tests completed during the year and save the data in digital format. The CBSE will make it easier for schools to transmit their internal assessment results to the CBSE IT platform. Internal Assessment Guidelines for all topics will be issued in conjunction with the Assessment / Examination in the following situations:
- If the pandemic situation improves, students can attend schools or centers to take the tests. Term I and Term II examinations will be held in schools/centers, with theory marks given evenly across the two tests.
- If the pandemic intensifies and students are required to complete Term I examinations online or offline from their homes, but Term II exams may be held at centers, the CBSE Board will lower the weightage of Term I exams and enhance the weightage of Term II exams for the final result declaration.
- If the epidemic compels the closure of all schools, Term I examinations will be given at schools or centers. The results will be determined by the student's performance on the Term I MCQ-based test and internal evaluations. To offer year-end results for applicants, the weightage of marks from the Board's Term I test will be raised.
- If neither of the tests can be held at schools or centers, the Board will prepare results using internal evaluations, practicals, and theory marks from students' home-taken Term I and II exams to assure the validity and reliability of the evaluation.

- Classrooms will continue to teach from a distance until the authorities allow for person-to-person instruction in schools.
- End of a topic or unit examinations, exploratory activities, practicals, and projects would be part of the internal assessment in Classes XI-XII (through the year, regardless of Term I and II).
- Schools would establish a student profile for all tests completed during the year and save the data in digital format.
